SETTING UP THE HYTERA PNC370
The Hytera PNC370 is proving to be a very popular radio, but getting it up and running isn't for the faint hearted. Be aware that this is Hytera's first foray into PoC only devices, so there are going to be some things that seem unsuaul and some that seem just downright silly!!
As with all new kit, there will be a period of re-assessment and changes will be made. So if you aren't truly prepared to be a part of the 'Discovery Project' for the PNC370, then press "pause" on your intention to buy, and leave it a few weeks to see how things shake out!!
That being said, the more people we get giving feedback to us, the more feedback we cna pass on to Hytera. One of the biggest issues at the moment is the restricted access to key areas of the Android OS, and we have already flagged this with Hytera. At the very least, we need better access to teh settings area, so that we can use applications such as Button Mapper to bring the P1 & P2 keys into play.
So, please take a look at the pdf in the download section, and use it to help you get started. I am sure it will not cover every eventuallity, but so far I think it's giving most people a place to start. Please also feel free to message us with and changes, additions or if you think it could be more desriptive in some areas. It does pre-suppose an existing dengree of familiarity with some basics such as elements of the Windows OS.
